Thanksgiving weekend, and a warm Sunday for a hike to Chickies Rock, overlooking the Susquehanna. There are actually two magnificent overlooks at the park, one at Breezyview, where I parked, and the other at Chickies Rock, three-quarters of a mile upstream. To get from one to the other you hike down, down, down to the river, and then up, up, up at the other end. But the views make it all worth while.
